Without Makup - Sherlock Test Makeup - The Sherlock himself

Well that's me than trying to find out if I got what it takes to do a halfway propper Sherlock cosplay.
I did a first makeup test, put on a long, black, curly wig (that is so wrong for Sherlock...his hair is BROWN!) and took a crappy selfie with my phone.
I still can't deside if I would be a good sherlock or not. Suggestions?

That's actually not bad at all! There are ways to dye the wig the correct color, or you could order one in the correct color. It needs to be cut a bit in the back and styled properly in the front. If you're going for a Benedict Sherlock, try smirking just the tiniest bit, like you know everything there ever was to know, and your eyes are much larger than his, so when you shoot your cosplay, you might try standing with a light in front of you, as to make your pupils that much smaller. Of course, you could always do all that in photoshop as well, if you know the program well enough. Finally, the shirt you tried with this is obviously a women's shirt. Clothes can make or break a great cosplay, but I'm sure you already know that.

All in all, I say really go for it! I think you have excellent features and bone structure to play Sherlock! I can't wait to see a final product!
